Looking for a unique dining experience to try out in the New Year? This newly minted East Asian restaurant is making waves by serving up a one-of-a-kind dining experience that says goodbye to ordinary dishes and hello to captivating the taste buds of locals and visitors alike.
Jumble Eats – defined as a mix of everything – boasts a fusion meets contemporary style menu featuring Japanese all-you-can eat sushi, Asian hot pot and BBQ, as well as a traditional static menu.
Inspired by Asian cuisine in cities such as Calgary and Edmonton, owner Jon Dizon and his family were left searching for traditional Asian eats in their own community.
“Instead of driving two hours to Edmonton to eat at a hot-pot or Korean restaurant, we decided to bring all of our favourite foods together in one place!” says Dizon. “That way we could share our love of East Asian food with our friends and neighbours right here in Red Deer.”
Channeling their own heritage through the creation of modern dishes, Dizon is excited to offer longtime residents, as well as young families and newcomers to the area a chance to broaden their culinary palates.
While they may have only launched this past September, Jumble Eats has already left many smiles on the faces of the guests they’ve served and had many more coming back for seconds! With one diner writing…
“I have been to many all-you-can-eat, Asian BBQ/hot pot restaurants. This might be one of the best! The service of the friendly staff was excellent! The side dishes and sauces were perfect and the presentation of the sushi, rolls, and sashimi brought to the table were beautiful! There were many dishes to choose from and the variety of marinated meat was excellent.”
Offering in-house dining, a full bar, takeout and catering services, Jumble Eats is located in the heart of downtown Red Deer along 50th Street and 49th Avenue, serving customers from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
