Red Deerians are now able to vote ahead of April 22’s byelection.
Advance polls opened Thursday at three locations: Parkland Mall, Baymont by Wyndham and Westerner Park. The sites will also be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Accessible voting devices are available for voters with varying abilities to ensure they can cast a ballot.
“These devices are available during advance vote only at Parkland Mall and Baymont by Wyndham stations,” the City of Red Deer noted in a media release.
Byelection day is Monday, April 22 – the same three locations will be open for voters from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 22, preliminary results will be updated at elections.reddeer.ca as polling stations are reported.
