GenNext, a group associated with Central Alberta United Way, is searching for leaders under 40 in the region for a new initiative.

GenNext, a group supported by the Central Alberta United Way has launched a new 40 under 40 initiative to celebrate community leaders under the age of 40. 

In a press release Tuesday, the group said they hope to celebrate the exceptional talent and leadership in the community. 

"We are consistently awed by the initiative shown by the next generation of local leaders to innovate, inspire, and create positive change," said Connor Dobko, GenNext Co-Chair.

"As a committee of community-minded professionals in their 20s and 30s, GenNext is thrilled to spotlight those of our peers who are making significant contributions in Central Alberta through their professional and personal achievements."

All Central Albertans under 40 are encouraged to self-nominate before Sunday, August 11th for their chance to be included in this year's top 40 outstanding honourees, chosen by GenNext’s nomination selection committee.

The selected top 40 honourees will be announced by GenNext in early to mid-fall.
