Broadcaster, blogger and author Alan Cross will be speaking about his journey of musical discovery in Red Deer on Saturday.
The internationally known interviewer, writer, consultant and speaker will be making suggestions on July 6 at the Velvet Olive about how to make music collections more interesting through new discoveries.
Cross runs the website ajournalofmusicalthings.com and radio show, The Ongoing History of New Music, available as a podcast through Apple and Spotify.
He focuses on alternative rock and how it influences musical tastes today. Cross also spends considerable time "observing and commenting on the intersection of music and technology."
