It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Yvonne Marian Hogberg, (nee Vos) after a courageous battle with cancer, on the evening of Friday, November 17, 2023, at the age of 63 years. She was born on November 23, 1959, in Calgary and grew up on the family farm in the Condor area. Yvonne loved to travel, camp, and enjoy the wilderness on horseback and in all-terrain vehicles. She also loved to read and spend time with her family. She will be remembered for her easy smile and great laugh. Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Andy; her two daughters; Laureen Lamb (Nolan) and Valerie Flood (Travis), and her three grandchildren, Bethany, Clark and Brea. She will also be sadly missed by her two brothers, Charlie (Holly) and Wilfred (Jean); her two sisters, Connie (Rick) and Francis (Stuart); her sister-in-law, Edith, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Yvonne was predeceased by her father, Tony Vos (1994); her mother, Maria Vos (2023) and her brother, Barry Vos (2001). A Celebration of Yvonne's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Yvonne's honour may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca.
