After round two of the 2024 Alberta Women's Amateur Championship, Red Deer's Eileen Park has put herself in a good position to potentially win the tournament.

The final round at River Spirit Golf Club in Calgary is set to begin Thursday morning and Park is just two shots away from tying the leader after shooting two-over-par throughout the tournament.

Jenna Bruggeman, who's representing the Derrick Golf & Winter Club, is leading the three-day tournament after shooting even par through the first two rounds.

Park climbed the leaderboard on Wednesday into second place after starting the day in fifth place. A few of the leaders after round one fell on day two which made way for Park to make a run. She took full advantage and stayed consistent shooting one over par (73) for the second straight day.

Park will tee off at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday alongside Bruggeman and third-place holder Grace Bell, who's representing the Glencoe Golf & Country Club.
