He practises on the climbing wall in the fieldhouse at the Collicutt Centre and does it primarily by visualizing and remembering each of the holds that he has encountered on his way up or down. “The climbing is just another challenge that I’ve encountered and can accomplish as a blind person,” he said.Weatherall lost his eyesight 11 years ago in an industrial accident.
